Carson River: Class II
This is a two-day Class II whitewater rafting trip that is best April through June. Starting high in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, a constant gradient draws your boat through sweeping turns and rippling rapids for 21 miles of wilderness solitude. This is a perfect trip for families and groups. The largest rapid, Sidewinder, is a fun and yet straightforward rapid, exciting for first time boaters. The highlight of this run is a beautiful natural hot spring on the bank of the river about half way down the run. After relaxing in the hot springs, enjoy a catered dinner and sleep under the stars.
